Grace + Stephen - Boston Park Plaza

Grace & Stephen’s wedding represents the great “Boston Wedding” to a tee. They had the venue, the park, the weather, the flowers, trolley rides, the wedding party, and of course the cutest and fluffiest photobomber ever.

Grace and Stephen were originally planning their dream wedding for the end of 2022 after getting engaged in Maui. However, family health concerns motivated them to move up their wedding date to April 2nd 2022. Grace was pleasantly surprised that both their church and venue were available for their new chosen date, and she took this as a sign it was meant to be. Hats off to her, not just anyone could plan and execute their dream wedding in just five months!

Their ceremony took place in the epic Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston. If you’re going to do a church wedding (Big yawn for us secular folks), do it in an epic place like the cathedral. After the ceremony, we boarded a trolley to the Boston Public Garden and were rewarded with the most amazing lighting and beautiful city backdrop. It was chilly, but these guys and gals enjoyed champagne pops, and Grace and Stephen’s formal photos are stunning.

As we headed back to Boston Park Plaza to finish up photos, Grace was talking about missing her new Golden Retriever puppy, Maui. As fate would have it, a Boston couple was walking their own Golden past the wedding party. He was so excited to see them, he pulled his parents across the street. Everyone doted on him, and he became part of the photos and video. The best part, his name was Kula, which is a district of Maui! The universe couldn’t have spelled things out any clearer, these two were supposed to be married in April! #bestphotobombever!

Grace and Stephen wrapped up their dream wedding with Stephen feeding Grace the most giant piece of cake, a super fun and entertaining father daughter dance, and laughing the night away with family and friends.
